1. Who we are

zalicy. is a student journey tracking platform operated for international admissions counselors and the schools they serve. References to "we," "us," or "zalicy." mean the operator of the platform.

2. What we collect

We collect account information (name, role, school, email), student journey data entered by counselors or students (academic profile, milestones, documents, shortlist, session notes), and standard product telemetry (logins, page views, error logs). Parents only see data explicitly shared by the counseling team.

3. How we use it

Data is used to operate the platform, deliver notifications and digests, secure accounts, and improve product quality. We do not sell personal data. We do not use student data to train third-party AI models.

4. Data isolation

Every record is scoped to a school account. Counselors, students, and parents only see records they are authorized to view. Internal counselor notes are never visible to students or parents.

5. Storage and retention

Data is stored in encrypted form. Schools may request export or deletion of their account data at any time by contacting support.

6. Sub-processors

We use vetted infrastructure providers for hosting, email delivery, and file storage. A current list is available on request.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Contact privacy@zalicy.com.

8. Changes

Material changes to this policy will be communicated to school admins by email.
